The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is a political union made up of four countries, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The country has a significant place in the map of global literature, arts and sculpture. The UK is situated in the Western Europe. The history of UK has made a multi-cultural society and it is the home of English language. The UK higher-education system is one of the oldest one across the world. There are hundreds of world-class universities offering an enriched experience for international students.
There are four distinct seasons to the UK; summer, winter, spring and autumn. Generally UK has a cold, wet and dreary weather. The UK is highly advanced nation with high quality of life having a safe social and personal security. It has an excellent infrastructure, a very good public transport system, large network of buses, planes and trains which simplify traveling and have low cost facilities.
The UK has three of the top ten globally ranked institutions which are internationally valued and recognized. UK higher education system has been tightly regulated by the British Government. UK Education system has flexible degree choices with the possibility to earn Bachelors in three/four years and a Masters degree in one year. Undergraduate level average entry requirements for universities are:
- HSSC 70% or above
- A-levels BBB or above
- International Baccalaureate (IB) 30 points or above

Postgraduate programs usually require a first class or upper second class degree.

Scholarship Opportunities
Majority of the UK universities are offering partial scholarships to all self funded students with good academic backgrounds. Scholarships are granted precisely on the basis of merit ranging from (£1000 –£6000). Usually the scholarship amount is deducted from the total fee and the students need to deposit the remaining fee (upfront and by installments)

Work Opportunities
Work in UK has been challenging and constructive for the career prospects. Students are allowed to work part time 20 hours a week during their term time. Full time work is allowed during semester / summer break on tier 4 visa. Recently, UK government has announced two years post study work (PSW) visa which will commence from summer 2021. This will be a great opportunity for the students wishing to work in the UK after successful completion of their studies.
